Up to $100 will be reimbursed to area schools per bus to visit the Figge Art Museum. The Butterworth Trust is pleased to offer busing to the Figge Art Museum for your school to experience the exhibit "Birds of America: John James Audubon", Feb. 2 - May 11, 2008.

The Trust will cover up to $100.00 per bus.

School visits to the Figge Art Museum must be arranged by contacting Heather at 563-326-7804 ext.2045 or haaronson@figgeartmuseum.org.

Museum admission fees for school groups are $3.00 per student, or $5.00 per student with art project. Teacher attends for free. Visits to the Figge can include a movie on Audubon for 5th grade through 12th grade.

Josh Duffee and His Orchestra will be in performance this evening, Feb 8th, at the Col Ballroom in Davenport for the Plus 60 Club's Valentine Ball.  Ticket prices are $8 in advance (can be purchased at the Quad City Times building), or $10 at the door.

The St. Margaret's Guild will host a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Luncheon on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Trinity Church, 19th St & 6th Ave in Rock Island.  The luncheon will run from 11am until 1:30pm.  Tickets are just $4 for adults, $2 for children and are available at the door.
