ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 9, 2023) — The Augustana College Department of Theatre presents ‘Small Mouth Sounds,’ March 16-19, at the Brunner Theatre Center Main Stage. Ben Gougeon of Quad City Arts will direct the performance.

In the comedy-drama, six runaways from city life embark on a silent retreat but their vows of silence conflict with their need to connect. Playwright Bess Wohl noted that everyone in the play is in some kind of agony, "not unlike the rest of us."

IOWA CITY, IOWA (February 22, 2023) — The University of Iowa’s Hancher Auditorium will offer a new Broadway subscription series for Iowa theater fans as part of its 2023-2024 season. The package will include four hit Broadway shows at a discounted price. Hancher will announce the Broadway lineup on April 12, 2023.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 20, 2023) — The Black Box Theatre is holding auditions for their next two shows on February 25, 12-3PM. Actors will be asked to read from the script. Actor/Singers prepare a classic Broadway tune and you will read from the script. These are open auditions. Everyone one is welcome.
