BETTENDORF, IOWA (December 4, 2023) — Looking for a way to have fun and support local students?

We have numerous volunteer openings on December 9 and 10 at the Putnam Museum, as well as on December 16 and 17 at the John Deere World Headquarters.

These events will support the Quad Cities first LEGO League qualifying events.

No previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome, including college and high-school students. With approximately 64 teams participating, we are in need of forty to fifty volunteers for each event, and the commitment is less than a day.

Join us, make a meaningful impact, and enjoy the experience! Sign up now to be a part of these exciting events at qcesc.org/quad-cities-first-volunteers/.

As a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to help us provide STEM scholarships and grants. Donations, large and small, help us continue and grow these programs.

If you would like to make a donation, visit our website qcesc.org/supportvolunteer/#donate.

Help Keep the Reader Alive and Free Since '93!

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
