DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 16, 2020) — Tickets are on sale now to the public for a February 8 concert starring country-music standout Granger Smith. The concert is sponsored by the St Ambrose University Campus Activities Board (CAB) and will be the first music show staged inside the O’Rourke Fieldhouse in the Wellness and Recreation Center.

Tickets are $15 apiece for the general public and $5 for St Ambrose students and can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/granger-smith-feat-earl-dibbles-jr-tickets-82882777619.

Granger Smith is a country-music veteran, with nine albums to his credit. His 2013 album, Dirt Road Driveway, reached N°15 on the US country charts and N°11 on the US indie charts. His 2016 single “Backroad Song” won BMI Country Award.

Smith, 40, has released nine studio albums, one live recording and one EP. He also authored the book If You’re City, If You’re Country under the name of Earl Dibbles Jr, his comic alter-ego who has cultivated a social following of 3.5 million fans with more than 50 million views of YouTube videos “pairing” Smith and Dibbles Jr.

Previous CAB-sponsored concerts have been limited to SAU students, due to space limitations. The opening of spacious O’Rourke Fieldhouse and the Wellness and Recreation Center in September 2017 provides a beautiful new venue for campus events.

Tickets for the concert will remain on sale at the eventbrite site until 6:30PM on February 8, when doors to the fieldhouse will open.
