Churches United of the Quad City Area is very thankful to The Rock Island Arsenal Welcome Club for their $1,000.00 grant in support of our Hunger Program in the Quad City Area. This grant was awarded through the Welcome Club’s Community Support program.
In its 56th year, Churches United has a history of reaching out to our community. Its 137 member churches represent over 50,000 people from the Quad City Area. As well as 26 food pantries and 3 hot meal sites, Churches United also operates Winnie’s Place, a shelter for women (with or without children) who are homeless and/or victims of domestic violence.
