(DES MOINES) – Today, Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds announced two appointments to the Iowa Board of Medicine.  These appointments are effective today, are unpaid and are subject to Iowa Senate confirmation.

Ms. Teresa Garman of Ames, IA previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1987 to 2002, where she served as Chairwoman of the Justice Appropriations Committee.  She replaces Diane Clarke of Lake Mills, IA. 

Dr. Warren Gall of Dubuque, IA is a physician at the University of Dubuque and has served on the Iowa Medical Advisory Board three years.  Dr. Gall replaces Dr. Hamed Tewfik of Iowa City, IA.
