The Clinton Area Showboat Theatre (CAST) will be holding a fundraiser at the Clinton Hy-Vee Market Grille from 4:00pm-10:00pm on Friday, April 21st. The Market Grille will donate 25 % of their sales during this time to CAST, with all bar tips being donated to the organization as well. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Showboat’s 2017 professional Summer productions, educational Intern Program, and summer camps for children.

Amana- Making God Laugh opens on April 20 and runs through May 14 on the Old Creamery’s Main Stage, with shows on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 2:00 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm.

MOLINE, IL – The Tin Woman by Sean Grennan opens at The Black Box Theatre on April 20th.

Based on a true story, The Tin Woman is the story of Joy, the recipient of the heart, unsure whether she deserves this extraordinary gift, as well as the donors parents Alice and Hank as they come to accept their son’s death.

The Panther Players at United Township High School are proud to present our 2017 musical, Little Women, April 26-29! Based on the classic novel by Louis May Alcott, Little Women tells the story of headstrong Jo March who struggles with the expectations put on her as a young woman in Civil War-Era New England. Jo, a prolific writer, uses her stories to make sense of the world around her and redefine what it means to be an accomplished female.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS – The Black Box Theatre located at 1623 5th Avenue, Moline, Illinois is holding auditions on Saturday, April 22 from 1-4 at the theatre.  Those planning on auditioning should prepare 16-32 bars of music and bring sheet music and perform a short monologue. You may be asked to sing from the show. Ethnic diversity is strongly encouraged.  Callbacks TBD.   You must audition to be considered for any of the shows.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque Department of Fine and Performing Arts and the UD Drama Club will present their spring musical, Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach, on Friday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 29, at 10:00 a.m., and Sunday, April 30, at 2:00 p.m. in Heritage Center’s John and Alice Butler Hall.

Grab your partner and get ready for a boot stomping, heel clicking, toe tapping good time!  Hang on to your hats as we head to the rodeo with the wild outlaws of The Wild, Wild West in Aaron Copland's Rodeo and Billy the Kid on April 1st at 1:30 and 7:30. Ballet Quad Cities and Orchestra Iowa will stir up trouble in these two brand new productions! 

The Iowa City Community Theatre will be bringing the production of "The Diary of Anne Frank" to the stage this April. The powerful memoirs of a young Jewish girl are brought to life, as she is forced to hide to evade Nazi persecution.
