SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND (February 18, 2025) — Achieving the Dream (ATD), a national organization committed to advancing community colleges as accessible hubs of learning, credentialing, and economic mobility, has awarded the Leah Meyer Austin Award, its highest recognition, to Chattanooga State Community College and Southwestern Oregon Community College.

SEARCY, ARKANSAS (February 18, 2025) — Lily Bendickson of Donahue, Iowa, is one of more than 300 students who received diplomas and were recognized as Harding University graduates during the Fall 2024 commencement ceremony on December 14, 2024.

Bendickson received a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education.

PELLA, IOWA (February 17, 2025) — Led by a career-high thirty points from Abby Johnson (senor, Ankeny), the Central College women's basketball team took down the University of Dubuque 65-57.

Johnson shot eleven-of-twenty from the field, including six-of-twelve from three-point range. She added six rebounds and one steal.
