Clinton Area Showboat Theatre is excited to announce local auditions for the 2017 "Hooray for Hollywood" Season, January 28 & 29th.  Actors are asked to prepare 16 bars from a musical theatre song, a second 16 bar cut may be requested.  Please bring sheet music in the correct key, an accompanist will be provided.  Auditions will be from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, January 28 and 9am to 11am on Sunday, January 29th.  Some actors may be asked to return for dance callbacks at 5pm on 1/28 and 11am on 1/29.  Those interested in auditioning should request an appointment by emailing Assistant Artistic Director Lara Tenckhoff at lara.tenckhoff@gmail.com.  High School students interested in participating in the Intern Company are also asked to prepare a one-minute monologue.  Please indicate that you are interested in the intern company when emailing for an appointment. Actors of all ages are encouraged to audition. The location for auditions, in Clinton, will be provided in early January.

The Showboat 2017 season "Hooray for Hollywood" includes Disney's musical Newsies (June 8-18), the thriller Dial M for Murder (June 22-July 1), the high-spirited musical Footloose (July 6-23), The Bridges of Madison County musical (July 27-Aug 6) and The 39 Steps (Aug 10-19).
