Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack released the following statement today after his legislation, the Rural Wireless Access Act, was signed into law by President Trump. This bipartisan bill was incorporated in the FY2018 Omnibus Appropriations Act, which was passed by both the House and Senate and signed into law last week.

Davenport Public Library at Main (321 Main Street) is now offering five 4G LTE network mobile hotspots for patrons to check-out for up to one week! Up to 10 devices – phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, printers – can connect to each hotspot. All mobile hotspots come with an AC adapter and USB cable for charging. They are checked-out on a first-come basis with no holds or renewals.
