DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is joining its fellow Cancer Support Community’s (CSC) network partners that include CSC, Gilda’s Clubs, and health-care partnerships, to celebrate the second-annual Community is Stronger Than Cancer Day. Following the success of the previous year’s inaugural day, CSC and its network are excited to announce that they are continuing the tradition.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 27, 2023) — The Vera French Community Mental Health Center (VF CMHC) is adding a second full-service outpatient mental-health clinic to serve our community in late 2023 and to meet the growing mental-health needs of the Quad Cities and our larger region.

Vera French has announced its purchase and renovation of the first three floors of the tower at 852 Middle Road in Bettendorf, Iowa. The location also provides for easy access to I-74.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 1, 2023) — June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, and it’s a good time to honor and spread awareness for the more than 6.7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s, including 300,000 in Iowa and Illinois. As the size of the US population age 65 and older continues to grow, so, too, will the number and proportion of Americans with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
