DES MOINES, IOWA (May 5, 2023) — Iowa Workforce Development has announced $3.47 million in new funding designated to create or expand Registered Apprenticeship (RA) Programs across Iowa. DUBUQUE, IOWA (April 28, 2023) — With a contract expiring July 1 for nearly fifty public-sector workers in Dubuque County, Teamsters Local 120 has spent the last several weeks negotiating a new deal for members. In a blow to these essential workers, the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors have proposed a contract that would strip workers’ contracts down and remove critical language about seniority, vacation time, and other benefits.
