 After playing over 200 shows in a single year, blues/folk artist Matt Andersen will arive at River Music Experience for a gig on Wednesday! Hear narrative-driven lyrics that cut through the soul and blend a variety of musical styles, guitar work, and showmanship. On Saturday, a combination of funk, jazz, and rock will fill the Redstone Room with Brainchild! Icestravaganza 2014 is coming up NEXT week! Award-winning ice sculpture artist, Dawson List, will be visiting from the Big Easy to wow event goers on Saturday, January 18! It's FREE and one sculpture will be so big you can walk through it! The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the RME/Skybridge Courtyard on 2nd Street. Join the Facebook Event and invite your friends, too. The event is free and perfect for families! Find a variety of suits, separates, slacks, blouses, dresses, handbags, and more this weekend at Dress for Success during their Overstock Sale! Suspend yourself in a new exhibition at the Figge this weekend! Exhibition: Corn Zone features hand-cast glass corn, enhanced by audio and video images of cornfields and the studio production of the exhibition. Keep an eye out for the Kids Design Glass Exhibition that opens next weekend, too. Until then, explore the various exhibits already occurring at the Figge, such as The Virgin Mary in Art Exhibit or the Walter Haskell Hinton: Image Maker for Deere Exhibit.
