2016 Individual-game tickets available for purchase online March 7; Box office ticket availability to be determined

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Individual-game tickets for the 2016 Quad Cities River Bandits season will be available for purchase online starting Monday, March 7, at 9:00 a.m. central time through the team website at RiverBandits.com/tickets. This early release of individual-game tickets is available only online and purchased tickets can be printed at home, sent to the will call window at Modern Woodmen Park, or sent directly to a mobile phone or device for scanning on game day.

Tickets for individual games are not yet available for purchase through the box office at Modern Woodmen Park. The date of availability for tickets purchased through the box office is still to be determined, but the tickets will be available prior to the start of the season. The early release of individual-game tickets online gives fans earlier access to single-game tickets than they’ve had in past seasons.

"We love our fans, and anything we can do to make their lives easier is something we're all for. Buying Bandits tickets on-line, in the comfort of your home, is about as easy as it gets," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. “This way, our fans can ensure that they get the best seats for the best games -- for unique bobblehead giveaways, great firework shows, and cool celebrity appearances -- without having to brave the weather and the lines at the ballpark. That's what we call a win-win!"

The River Bandits home opener is Saturday, April 9, at 1:15 p.m. with gates opening one hour prior to first pitch. Fans will receive a River Bandits magnet schedule and pennant, courtesy of Mediacom. UP NEXT: The River Bandits host the annual job fair on Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Modern Woodmen Park. The River Bandits are looking for passionate, dedicated and fun-loving community members to fill a wide range of positions in game day operations, customer service and concessions. There will also be National Anthem tryouts held in the Budweiser Champions Club from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ABOUT THE BANDITS: The 2016 season marks the River Bandits' fourth year as the Astros' Class-A affiliate and the ninth season since regaining the River Bandits moniker, which was voted a top-8 nickname in all of Minor League Baseball in 2015. Also in 2015, Sports Business Journal named Quad Cities the number one minor league sports market in the country. In recognition for giving back to the Quad Cities community, the River Bandits were the 2015 recipient of the Ballpark Digest Best Charity Event or Campaign in Baseball award.
