Sauk and Meskwaki Tribes

Beth Carvey, of the Black Hawk State Park Museum, will present a talk on the Sauk and Meskwaki tribes, both indigenous to the Quad Cities area, on Tuesday, November 18th at 1:30 pm at the Rock Island Public Library. November is Native American Heritage month. www.rockislandlibrary.org

Inaugural Winemakers Dinner

QC Mallards Games

On Wednesday, November 19, 7:05 p.m., it's the Mallards vs. Tulsa Oilers.  Fans can purchase four tickets to each Mallards Wednesday home game for just $20.  In addition, after each Wednesday home contest, fans can join the Mallards at T.G.I. Friday's on River Drive in Moline- adjacent to the iWireless Center- for a postgame party.  Then on Friday, November 21, 7:05 p.m., it's the Mallards vs. Rapid City Rush. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and beers from iWireless Center concession stands during all Friday home games.  97X will follow in the spirit of the evening by presenting hot dog-themed intermission entertainment. www.myqcmallards.net

Out Loud Open Mic Reading

During Out Loud evenings, attendees have the opportunity to share their poetry or prose on Thursday, November 20th at 7 p.m. at the Downtown Central Perk in Davenport. The evening is free and open to everyone. Listeners are also welcome!
