This project has been designed to help our students understand the issue of hunger in our world today. In our communities there are people who go to bed hungry and haven’t the resources to take care of basic needs. Peanut Butter is a staple of life, and a good source of protein (like meat & cheese) but it is non-perishable, lasting a long time and most people especially little children like it.

We are asking our students to collect as many jars of Peanut Butter. HOWEVER, we are asking the children to earn the price of at least one jar on their own. We welcome your adding to this cause.

The children can even bring in jelly and crackers if they like, but the main goal is PEANUT BUTTER.

Please bring the Peanut Butter in by March 17. We will then send it over to the food pantry for distribution.

May this Lenten Season be one of peace and fulfillment to you and your families.
