Terry Lee Goffee to perform at CDPAC -  brought to you by Iowa Mutual

The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center (CDPAC) brings Terry Lee Goffee and the Ultimate Tribute to Johnny Cash - brought to you by Iowa Mutual, on Friday, October 28th at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:00pm, Seating at 6:30pm. Tickets are for sale - $20 for adults and $5 for students (K-12). Tickets may be purchased online at www.cd-pac.org at DeWitt City Hall or at the door, one hour prior to each show.

Marty Stuart, an American country music singer/songwriter and past guitarist for Cash’s back-up band, wrote a song for Cash entitled, “I Walk Alone”. Stuart gave the song to Goffee, as Stuart appreciated the “care and attention that he’s putting into keeping J.R.’s music alive.” The song “I Walk Alone” is now performed by Terry Lee Goffee at each of his performances.

About the Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center

 

The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center (CDPAC) is a state-of-the-art venue for plays, musicals, concerts, recitals, comedians, dancers, speakers, business meetings and other events. The auditorium offers 799 seats, technically advanced lighting and sound systems, and a C7 Yamaha Grand Piano Disclavier.

 

 

The performing arts center is part of a $28 million addition to Central DeWitt Community High School in DeWitt, IA. It opened to the public in 2011. The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center is a non-profit auditorium which contracts six to eight professional performing artist groups from all over the nation, to perform throughout the year during the performance series.
