Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the Iowa ALS Association; United Egg Producers; Iowa Sister States; the Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association; One Voice Against Cancer; the Iowa Association of Realtors; the Iowa Motor Truck Association; the Iowa Automobile Dealers Association; the Transportation Construction Coalition; the Iowa State Police Association; the Iowa Insurance Division and Food Bank of Iowa.

Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa students visiting Washington, D.C., from Simpson College.

Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa families visiting Washington, D.C., from Cedar Rapids, Clinton, Norwalk and Ankeny.

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over a Judiciary Committee Hearing on “Oversight and Reauthorization of the FISA Amendments Act: The Balance between National Security, Privacy and Civil Liberties.”

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Finance Committee Hearing on “Can Evidence Based Practices Improve Outcomes for Vulnerable Individuals and Families?”

On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Finance Committee Hearing on “Oversight on the United States Customs and Border Protection Agency.”

On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 3 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Finance Committee Hearing on the nominations of The Honorable Charles P. Blahous III and The Honorable Robert D. Reischauer to be members of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund, members of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund, members of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund and members of the Federal Disability Insurance Trust Fund.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 6 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will attend the Des Moines Partnership Reception. An estimated 200 business and community leaders from the Des Moines area will be in the nation’s capital for policy discussions.

On Thursday, May 12, 2016, at 7:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will have breakfast with the Des Moines Partnership.

On Thursday, May 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over the weekly executive business meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee may consider S. 247, the Expatriate Terrorist Act, S. 2348, the Rapid DNA Act of 2015, S. 2577, the Justice for All Reauthorization Act of 2016 and S. 2840, the POLICE Act.

On Thursday, May 12, 2016, at 11:15 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Skype meeting with social work policy students from Briar Cliff University.
