WHEATON, IL (02/29/2016)(readMedia)-- The Illinois Army National Guard's Bilateral Embedded Staff Team (BEST) A15 will be honored at a Freedom Salute ceremony held March 5 at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois.

WHO: • Illinois Army National Guard

• The Bilateral Embedded Staff Team (BEST) A15

WHAT: • The BEST A15 deployed in May 2015 in support of the NATO-led Operation Resolute Support, in Afghanistan, and returned to Illinois approximately 90 days ago.

• The six-member team trained and deployed side-by-side with their Polish counterparts as part of Task Force White Eagle.

• The Freedom Salute Campaign program is a way to show these patriotic citizen-Soldiers, their families and employers how much their sacrifice is appreciated.
