Beginning the week of 11/28/16 the contractor will be moving back onto Fairmount Street to replace a small section of the street. This repair will smooth out the transition from the new, permeable pavers to the existing pavement.
During this time Fairmount will be closed to through traffic from Lombard to W. Central Park. With the exception of a few houses, residents in the area will still have access to their driveways. These affected residents will be notified before the work begins. This repair is tentatively scheduled to be completed in 10 days
