BETTENDORF, IOWA (May 30, 2023) — In partnership with Disaster Ready Quad Cities, the Quad Cities Community Foundation is currently accepting donations to the Quad Cities Disaster Recovery Fund to support Quad Cities non-profits supporting households impacted by the collapse of 324 Main Street in downtown Davenport, Iowa, over the weekend.

The building will be demolished this week, and residents will likely lose everything.

Based on the resources available through gifts to the fund, financial assistance will be made available through Quad Cities Open Network to households that lived in 324 Main Street, Davenport, and that have registered for assistance with the American Red Cross.

If possible, based on resources, additional grant opportunities to support other aspects of community recovery, including businesses and displaced households in other nearby buildings, may be identified through the Community Foundation’s partnerships with local government and recovery organizations through Disaster Ready Quad Cities.
