Tribute Band honored as Top 100 Tribute Bands on AXS TV, to play at the CDPAC Oct. 21st

DeWitt, IA – Oct. 11, 2017 - The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center (CDPAC) proudly announces the popular Bee Gees Gold, The Tribute coming to the CDPAC 7:00pm Saturday, October 21st, 2017. Doors open at 6:00pm, Seating at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $30 for adults ($25 advance) and $5 for students (K-12). Advance tickets may be purchased at DeWitt City Hall, Emma Rae’s Antiques & Uniques in DeWitt, or online at www.cd-pac.org. Tickets are available for regular price at the door ($30) starting one hour prior to the show.

Bee Gees Gold, The Tribute

Showcased on AXS TV World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, this group delivers the Bee Gees’ sounds from the ’60s and ’70s! John Acosta as Barry Gibb has performed in Bee Gees Tributes all over the world. His portrayal of lead singer Barry Gibb is with a zest for detail, like no other. From the look to the falsetto you will close your eyes and say its Barry! John Acosta’s Bee Gees Gold Tribute is the ultimate salute, and experience of seeing the Bee Gees in their prime, LIVE ONCE AGAIN! With the detailed vocal stylings of John Acosta (Barry), Daryl Borges (Robin), Jeff Celentano (Maurice) as the brothers Gibb, there is a sensation that will make you blurt out, Wow… I just saw and heard the Bee Gees! Backed by a live band, they recreate the look and sound of the Bee Gees from the 60’s to the late 70’s, with their unique falsettos that made them legends.

About the Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center

The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center (CDPAC) is a state-of-the-art venue for plays, musicals, concerts, recitals, comedians, dancers, speakers, business meetings and other events. The auditorium offers 799 seats, technically advanced lighting and sound systems, and a C7 Yamaha Grand Piano Disclavier.

The performing arts center is part of a $28 million addition to Central DeWitt Community High School in DeWitt, IA. It opened to the public in 2011. The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center is a non-profit auditorium which contracts six to eight professional performing artist groups from all over the nation, to perform throughout the year during the performance series.
