BETTENDORF, IOWA (August 21, 2019) — It was an ambitious three-year fundraising campaign and an extremely aggressive six-month construction schedule, but the new STEAM center is ready to open, just in time for the 2019-20 school year. The 3-story, 30,000 plus square foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art makerspace, science labs, band, and math classrooms. It also has 12 double-occupancy dorm-rooms, two dorm-parent apartments, a student-commons area with large screen TV and kitchenette, as well as a laundry room and conference room.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled at Rivermont Collegiate (1821 Sunset Drive, Bettendorf IA 52722) on Monday, August 26, 2019, 11:30AM-12:30PM.

Bring the kids. Tour the facility. Enjoy light refreshments.

The STEAM building overlooks the Mississippi River on the site where the old Wallace House once stood.
