PRESS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY AT MODERN WOODMEN PARK

WHAT: Honoring a dedicated local leader who passed away early this year, the River Bandits are announcing the creation of the Bill Edmonds Seats at Modern Woodmen Park. Two box seats will be given away to deserving, underprivileged members of the Quad Cities community for each River Bandits home game in 2017.
 
WHERE: Sports Lounge (2nd Floor) of Modern Woodmen Park, 209 S. Gaines St. Davenport, IA 52802
 
WHEN: Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. CDT
 
WHO: River Bandits owner Dave Heller and Bill Edmonds' widow, Pam Edmonds
 
WHY: Bill Edmonds was a dedicated 2nd ward alderman in Davenport for several years who worked constantly to improve all public parks and places in Davenport, including Modern Woodmen Park, and had a tireless drive to help those less fortunate. The River Bandits hope to help honor the memory of Edmonds, who passed away in January.
