Central College students participated in a weeklong mission trip over winter break to Mission, Texas, where they partnered with a local church and built two homes for families in need

 

PELLA, IOWA (January 22, 2020) — Rebekah Beard of Geneseo, Illinois, was one of 20 Central College students who participated in a weeklong mission trip over winter break to Mission, Texas. While there, they partnered with a local church and built two homes for families in need. Students also spent time in worship, attended a local church, put on a community carnival and took part in other outreach activities. The theme of the week was "All In."

Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private, four-year liberal-arts college. Central is known for its academic rigor, leadership and character development, global experiential learning, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and sustainability education, athletics, and service.
