DES MOINES, IOWA (May 31, 2023) — The Iowa Restaurant Association has opened nominations for its top hospitality honors including the Restaurateur, Chef, Employee (host, server, bartender, etc), Philanthropist, and Rural Operator of the year. A full list of awards is available on the Association’s website and the public is invited to nominate outstanding individuals in any category. Winners will be honored at the Association’s annual Celebrating Excellence Hospitality Awards Ceremony at the Iowa Hospitality Showcase in Des Moines on November 13, 2023. Nominations will be accepted through August 1, 2023.
The Iowa Restaurant Association will also be accepting nominations for the 40 Women to Watch in Hospitality Award. This award recognizes forty women in Iowa's hospitality industry for their creativity, leadership, and contributions
