ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 18, 2019) — On Sunday, October 20, 1-3PM, celebrate Halloween and the fall harvest at the Botanical Center. Show off your costume, compete in races and paint a pumpkin to take home.

One pumpkin per family please, while supplies last.

Painted Pumpkins is part of our month-long programming called Pumpkin Extravaganza.

  • Pumpkin painting in the events canopy
  • Get moving pumpkin fun including: pumpkin broom race, pumpkin toss, candy corn race
  • Visit the story corner to hear about The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
  • Stop by the creativity corner to make your own pumpkin craft and learn who likes to eat pumpkins
  • Form teams with your family and do the free garden scavenger hunt
  • Come in your costume and take a photo with the whole family
