DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 19, 2023) — CornCon, the premier event in cybersecurity education and awareness, is back for its ninth year, promising an even more enlightening experience than ever before. From October 5-7, 2023, at the RiverCenter in Davenport, Iowa, industry leaders, educators, students, and families will converge to explore the world of cybersecurity and its critical importance in today's interconnected society.

Cybersecurity is not just an IT issue; it's a matter of national and corporate security, privacy, and personal safety. In an era where technology underpins virtually every aspect of our lives, the need for robust cybersecurity measures cannot be overstated. CISO Summit October 5, 2023:

• The conference kicks off with the CISO Summit, where forty Chief Information Security Officers and security leaders from across the United States will convene at the EICC Urban Campus in Davenport, IA.

• Attendees will earn seven continuing professional education credits, gaining valuable insights into the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

CornCon Cybersecurity Conference — October 6 and 7, 2023:

On October 6 and 7, the RiverCenter in Davenport, Iowa, will host over 500 cybersecurity professionals.

• More than 50 world-class experts will share their knowledge on a wide range of cybersecurity topics, with this year's theme being "The Rise of AI."

• Attendees can explore the latest innovations at the vendor expo, engage in hands-on experiences in the hacker villages, and build lasting connections at after-hours networking events.

• Participants will receive 16 continuing professional education credits to enhance their expertise.

High School Cybersecurity Career Day October 6, 2023:

• The conference includes a High School Cybersecurity Career Day, hosted by the Docent Institute, with 150 high school students and teachers in attendance.

• Students will gain insights into various cybersecurity career options, participate in a cybersecurity competition, and interact with a diverse panel of cybersecurity professionals who will share their career journeys.

Children of The CornCon Kids' Hacker Camp and STEM Festival — October 7, 2023:

• On October 7, the RiverCenter will be transformed into an exciting playground for 150 K-12 students and their parents.

• The camp will feature activities such as lockpicking, cryptography, artificial intelligence, coding, ethical hacking, games, and puzzles, with competitions and prizes up for grabs.

• All students will receive an electronic badge to solder, fostering hands-on learning and tech exploration.

Bill Murray After Party — October 7, 2023:

• As the conference comes to a close, all attendees are invited to the family-friendly Bill Murray After Party at Analog Arcade Bar, where networking and fun go hand in hand.
