WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (May 8, 2019) — Molly Ethington, a native of Rock Island, Illinois, and graduate of Alleman Catholic High School, is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater softball team, which will host the four-team Whitewater, Wisconsin, Regional round of the NCAA Division III Softball Championship this Friday-Sunday at van Steenderen Softball Complex.

Ethington, a senior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in accounting & business administration.

The Warhawks (26-12 overall) will face Eureka (Illinois), the St Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion, to open play Friday at 4:30PM. The other game will feature a pair of Pool "C", or at-large, qualifiers in Carthage and Coe (Iowa), who open regional play at 2PM.

UW-Whitewater earned its third straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship before falling in the conference tournament over the weekend. The team earned its first Pool C berth since 2011 after claiming Pool A, or automatic, bids in each of its last six appearances.

The Warhawks are making their 22nd appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Game 5 - Winner of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 3, 3:30PM

Sunday, May 12:

Game 6 - Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 5, 12PM

Game 7 (if necessary) - Winner of Game 6 vs. Loser of Game 6, 2:30PM
