DAVENPORT,IA—The Quad Cities Independent Food Truck Alliance has gathered vendors to begin serving curb-side in one of the City’s newly approved operating zones. On Tuesday, April 25, from 3:00 PM—11:00 PM, vendors will be serving up a variety of dishes in the Bechtel Park zone. The Bechtel Park zone is the area around Bechtel Park at East Second Street and Iowa Street.

This is only the first of many vending opportunities that the community can expect from the newly formed association this Summer and Fall. The public operating zones include the Bechtel Park zone as mentioned above and on the riverfront under the sky-bridge from 6:00 AM –12:00 PM. There are also a number of vendors serving on private property.

We would encourage the community to follow vendors’ schedules through our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/quadcityfoodtruck/

The Quad Cities Independent Food Truck Association was formed in March and has 12 vendors. The association exists to provide a diverse mobile culinary experience rooted in fostering community engagement, conducting ethical and professional operations, and giving back to the region through local outreach opportunities and development of entrepreneurs.

Please direct any questions to the association: qcifta@gmail.com, or you can contact the President, Chad Cushman, at cushmanchad@gmail.com or by phone at 563-579-6599.
