DAVENPORT, Iowa, May 8, 2018 – The community is invited to  join Reverend Rich Hendricks and the MCCQC church family during our monthly Saturday Evening Service as we honor family and friends who gave their lives while in the service of our country. Worship will include music, inspirational readings and an open table for communion. Weather permitting, the observance will include a special outdoor ceremony. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to stay for an evening of fellowship and games. There will be coffee and soft drinks for purchase. Guests are encouraged but not required to bring a light snack to share. The church will provide hot dogs with all the fixings. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome.

The May 26th service is in addition to the weekly 11:00 am Sunday service as well as the Spirituality Discussion Group that is held on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. MCCQC is located at 2930 W. Locust Street, Davenport, across from the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. MCCQC is dedicated to providing lively worship and proclaiming God's love for ALL people.
