ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 9, 2023) — Augustana College student Maitreyi Shrikhande, a Pre-medicine and Biology major from Davenport, was named an ALIVE fellow for the 2023-2024 year.

ALIVE, Augustana Leaders in Vocational Exploration, is a residential program that provides weekly discussions prompting fellows to discuss life-long work and live-giving relationships to which they feel called.

Designed for sophomore students, the ALIVE program gives students the chance to consider big questions about who they are and who they are called to be for the sake of the world.

Recently, ALIVE fellows gathered to hear Provost Dr Dianna Shandy share her vocational story during a Pizza and Purpose event. Dr. Shandy encouraged attendees to "make room for serendipity!"
