DES MOINES, IOWA (January 15, 2024) — Director Kraig Paulsen, Department of Management, and Division Director Jennifer Acton, Legislative Fiscal Division, are pleased to announce Jeff Plagge as the new Public Member of the Revenue Estimating Conference.
Plagge, of Latimer, Iowa, served as Iowa Superintendent of Banking, 2019-2023. Prior to that appointment, Plagge was President and CEO of Northwest Financial Corp of Arnolds Park, Iowa. Plagge has also served the banking industry in other capacities, including Chairman of the American Bankers’ Association and Chairman of the Iowa Bankers’ Association.
Plagge fills the vacancy left by outgoing Public Member, David Underwood. Underwood had served as the Revenue Estimating Conference Public Member since 1997.
