DES MOINES, IOWA (October 9, 2023) — The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) recently announced that 24 Iowa mortgage loan officers have earned IFA’s 2024 Preferred Lender designation. IFA Preferred Lenders serve as advocates for Iowans seeking assistance with the homeownership process and have received advanced training in IFA mortgage, down-payment, and closing costs-assistance programs. In addition, six lenders and Realtors® were named IFA Ambassadors for their commitment to advancing financial literacy amongst potential Iowa homebuyers.

“I congratulate our partners who recently earned IFA’s Preferred and Ambassador designations,” said IFA Director Debi Durham. "Iowa lenders and Realtors® play a crucial role in helping Iowans achieve homeownership and build wealth, and we look forward assisting even more Iowans in realizing their homeownership goals through these valuable partnerships."
