DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 11, 2024) — Icestravaganza 2024 has been cancelled due to extreme weather conditions forecast throughout the upcoming weekend.

“We love Icestravaganza so much, but expected conditions are simply unsafe to host the event this year,” said Kyle Carter, Executive Director, Downtown Davenport Partnership. “When the weather clears, a few sculptures were already completed, so we encourage folks to come downtown and support small businesses at the Freight House later this week. Antonella’s, Front Street Tap Room, Freight House Farmers Market, and The Diner will greatly appreciate the community support when things clear up.”

Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) would like to thank all of our generous sponsors and community partners. Co-presenting sponsors are Rubberstamps.net and TBK Bank. Additional support provided by Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, The Family Credit Union, Metronet, MidAmerican Energy, Front Street Brewery, Rhythm City Casino, City of Davenport, One Step, Hupp Toyota Lift, Bistate Barricade, Quad-City Times, KLJB, WHBF and Townsquare Media. Icestravaganza is produced by the Downtown Davenport Partnership, an affiliate of the Quad Cities Chamber.

Friday’s Quad Cities Chamber Coffee MeetUp scheduled for Friday, January 12, 7:30–9AM, at City Loafers has also been cancelled due to weather conditions. Find future Coffee MeetUp dates at quadcitieschamber.com.
