ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (September 8, 2023) — Join us Saturday, October 7, 2023, 10AM-6PM, for the first annual Haunted Rock Island YMCA Paracon. This event is a fund raiser for the Haunted Rock Island YMCA sponsored by Paraflixx — The Universal Home of the Paranormal and WLTK-DB Talk Radio.

We have an amazing line up of over sixty vendors. This is a family friendly event that will also have activities for kids, including a sucker ring toss and face painting. Hap’s Backyard BBQ will also be on hand with their mouthwatering barbecue.

The incredibly talented ACG Paranormal team of Nat, Elliot, Kidd and Joe will be leading three mini-investigations scheduled for 1PM, 3PM, and 5PM. They will also lead a VIP investigation from 8PM- 12AM.

General Admission: General Admission is $5. Children ten and under free. General admission includes access to all vendors, celebrities and teams joining us, along with access to all presentations.

VIP Admission: VIP Admission is $40 and includes access to all vendors, celebrities and teams joining us, along with access to all presentations. VIP Admission also includes the VIP Investigation from 8PM-12AM.

We will have several add on options that can be purchased in addition to your admission:

Mini Investigation: $10

A 45-minute mini-investigation with ACG Paranormal

1PM, 3PM, and 5PM.

Guided Tours: $20

Guided tours of the extremely haunted Rock Island YMCA will be held given by the amazing Linduh Roelens of Paragem. Tours will last approximately 1½ hours and covers all four floors of the building and the basement.

11AM and 3:30PM.

Sound Healing: $10

A fifteen-minute sound healing session by the lovely Tamra Rae of PrismsScape Gems and Healing Center, 11:30AM and 4:30PM.

Gallery Readings: $20

The gifted Vanessa Staron will be doing two gallery mediumship readings. Please note: These are gallery style readings and not everyone is guaranteed a reading. It is based on what spirits come through to Vanessa during the reading.

11AM and 5PM.

Deaf Paranormal Investigator Experience: Free

The Silent Explorers Paranormal team will be giving guests a complimentary investigation showing what it’s like to investigate without your sense of hearing. These investigations are free; however, a limited number of spaces are available so you will need to sign up for this experience.

10:30AM and 4:30PM.

All monies taken in for ticket sales and raffle tickets for directly to the historic landmark, the Haunted Rock Island YMCA for the preservation and upkeep of the building.

Note: General and VIP Admission does not include mini-investigations, tours, sound healings or gallery readings. Limited number of spaces for the add-ons are available so be sure to reserve your spot.
