DES MOINES, IOWA (November 15, 2022) — New tax types, functionality, and features are now available in GovConnectIowa. GovConnectIowa is the State of Iowa's online portal created to simplify processes and interactions with state agencies. The second rollout of GovConnectIowa functionality launched on November 14, providing Iowa business-owners, tax-payers, and license managers with new and updated tools:

* Corporation, S corporation, partnership, and franchise tax-payers have the ability to manage their tax-account information, make account payments or estimated payments, and view letters from the Department of Revenue.

* Iowans that previously used CACTAS can apply for tax credits and administer credits using GovConnectIowa.* Individuals that manage or apply for state-issued business licenses or permits now have access to additional licenses and updated tools in GovConnectIowa.

* Existing GovConnectIowa users can now use updated tools, enhanced account management options, and new features in their existing accounts.
