DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 19, 2024) — The 2024 National Congress of Old West Shootists (NCOWS) Convention is set to take place at The Double Tree by Hilton in Davenport, Iowa (111 E 2nd St, Davenport, Iowa, 52801), from March 22-March 24, 2024.

The convention promises an interesting lineup of events including:

  • Seminars: Dive into the rich history of the Old West with a series of engaging seminars covering topics such as Winchester rifles, 1880s period clothing, the role of railroads in western expansion, and the legendary life of Scott County's own Buffalo Bill, featuring impersonator Wayne Rettig.
  • Old West Show and Sale: Explore a fascinating array of period-specific goods at the Old West Show and Sale. Quality vendors will offer everything from clothing and firearms to leather goods, books, and period collectibles.
  • Ladies Tea and Banquet: Enjoy the charm of the Old West with special events including Ladies Tea and a Banquet on Saturday evening. Experience the camaraderie of fellow Old West enthusiasts in an authentic setting.
