However, acceptance into an accredited private school is a requisite step toward activating ESA funding. The Iowa Department of Education website reveals that, out of the 18,627 ESAs approved statewide, 1,300 are in Scott County. Prospective families are urged to take timely action and not delay until the eleventh hour to ensure a seamless transition.
