DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 1, 2024) — Becky Nakashima Brooke is a dedicated end-of-life doula and holistic practitioner. During this free community event, held January 20, 4-5PM, at 220 Emerson Pl, she will share her compassionate mission aimed at transforming the end-of-life experience into a sacred journey filled with support, guidance, and empowerment.

Acknowledging the importance of life's final chapter, Becky recognizes the significance of this sacred journey and her mission lies in the commitment to offer not only solace but also compassion, ensuring that individuals are supported in their unique end-of-life wishes.

As an end-of-life doula, Becky serves with a calm spirit and as a companion, offering a holistic approach to care that encompasses emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. With her unique tool set, she is able to care for the dying as well as the ones grieving the dying. “Through my personal experiences with death, I have been able to understand the importance of this position as an end-of-life doula. Death is part of life and unavoidable. I believe acceptance and celebration of a life well lived is part of a ‘good death.’ My wish for you is to support you in your loved ones in this most important time.”
