DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 17, 2023) – Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is excited to announce a renewed partnership with Comedy Sportz. The two organizations are working together again to host “Laughs Against Cancer,” a comedy improv show. The event will be at The Spotlight Theatre in Moline on September 22, 7PM. (Door opens at 6PM; tickets $20.) The room will not only be filled with laughter, but also support for those being impacted by cancer in the Quad City Community.

The two organizations have a rich history of working together. Comedy Sportz previously hosted “Laugh Around the Clock,” a 26-hour comedy improv marathon during Gilda’s Club QC’s Week of Laughter.  Additionally, Comedy Sportz would provide improv and fun encouragement along the Runs for Laughs Race Route.

All funds raised will stay local to provide no-cost services to those being impacted by cancer in the Quad City Community.
