DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 18, 2024) — Art Academy is excited to announce the opening of registration for its 2024 Summer Camps. Pat Bereskin (Art Academy Executive Director) and studio staff have put together over sixty camps/seminars in drawing, writing, painting, ceramics, fashion, illustration, and more.

From Monster Sculpture Camp to Landscape Painting to Youth Cartooning, there is something for every artist at every age and skill level available. Camps and seminars will be offered to  artists beginning at age five years old through adult with morning, afternoon, and evening classes available at the Figge Art Museum (225 W 2nd St, Davenport). Most day-camps for youth run Monday through Thursday.

In regards to the summer camps, Executive Director Bereskin stated, “We so excited to offer such a diverse catalog of hands-on art classes to our community this summer. And, we’re lucky to partner with Niabi Zoo, Three Owl Farm Equestrian Center, and QCCAN to have some four-legged models for many of our animal camps.”

Registration is available now with Member and Non-Member pricing. A full list of classes, camps, and seminars can be found on the Figge’s website at: figgeartmuseum.org/classes/classes.
