ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 23, 2024) — The Quad-City and Engineering Council, or QCESC, held the 62nd annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Celebration on February 22 2024.

The event celebrates and showcases the region's STEM professionals, educators, and the next generation of STEM professionals.

At the event, held during National Engineers Week, seventeen scholarships valued at $31,500 were awarded. This was the thirty-first year that the QCESC has awarded STEM scholarships to encourage students to pursue STEM careers. Including this year, 244 scholarships have been awarded valued at over $410,000.
