DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 6, 2020) — Gilda’s Club and Genesis Cancer Care Institute are pleased to announce that they are now accepting registration for their 2020 Cancer Retreats to be held at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities (1234 E River Drive).

The retreats are open to cancer patients/survivors from the Quad Cities area and one adult support person (spouse,family member or friend). Options to attend are Saturday, March 21, 2020, 8AM–5PM, or Saturday, June 13, 2020, 8AM–5PM.

Come for a day of laughter, fun, relaxation, and camaraderie.

The retreat is free, but limited to 10 cancer patients/survivors plus support person. Meals are provided. Participants cannot have attended previous retreat.

Retreat agenda includes:

  •   Meditation with Angela Swanson, Cloud Nine Meditation;
  •   Intimacy Workshop with Erin Sullivan-Wagner, After Cancer;
  •   Support Group with Gilda’s Club staff; and
  •   Creative Session with Living Proof Exhibit.
