PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (February 18, 2015) - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville awarded diplomas to more than 500 graduates after the fall 2014 semester.

The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture ceremony was in the morning of Dec. 13, while students in the College of Liberal Arts and Education and the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science graduated in the afternoon.

Founded in 1866, UW-Platteville is in Southwest Wisconsin, fewer than 30 miles from both the Illinois and Iowa borders. With 8,900 undergraduate and graduate students, UW-Platteville is the fastest-growing comprehensive institution in the UW System. MADISON, Wis. - Junior Stacy Clark was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.

Clark averaged 24 points and 11 rebounds in the Pioneers' two games last week. The Riverdale, Iowa native, shot 10-of-14 for 25 points in the Pioneers setback to UW-Oshkosh on Feb. 5. She also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded two steals and one assist. Clark recorded her fifth double-double of the season in the Pioneers 74-67 win over UW-La Crosse. She tallied 23 points and 15 rebounds against the Eagles, while adding one blocked shot.

Clark and Pioneers welcome UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
