Davenport, IA: The Stuff Etc located at 3568 N. Brady St. is holding two separate donation drives to benefit the victims of the tornado that destroyed or seriously damaged over 400 homes in Washington, IL on November 18, 2013.

The first donation event will be a charity umbrella drive from Friday, January 31st to Sunday, February 2nd. During this time individuals can donate a dollar to the Washington Rotary Foundation and receive 20% off their Stuff Etc purchase. In the past, these umbrella drives have raised hundreds to thousands of dollars for local charities. The second donation drive will be a Fill the Truck event on Saturday, February 15th. During a Fill the Truck event, individuals can donate items to Stuff Etc and the proceeds of everything sold will go to the Washington Rotary Foundation.

The Washington Rotary Foundation is providing immediate aid to tornado victims in Washington, IL. These victims are those who are still going through the FEMA process, were uninsured at the time of the tornado, or are falling through the cracks of assistance systems. The Washington Rotary Foundation will provide grants to these victims for immediate relief, and help them to become affiliated with a local church for long-term care.
