ADEL, IOWA (September 14, 2023) — September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Despite growing efforts to bring attention to the topic, suicide remains the second leading cause of death among young people ages 10–24 and the 10th leading cause of death among adults in the US, according to The National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
