Join William Hampes for a presentation about the Colonel Davenport House. This presentation is a history and visual tour via power point slides of the historic 1833 Colonel Davenport House on Arsenal Island. It will include background information about Colonel Davenport and his house and details about the house and how it has changed over the years.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 14, 2022) — The Davenport Public Library will host a program about Haitian Art April 23 at Eastern and Virtually.

Join Figge educator, Kelsey Vandercoy, for a talk all about Haitian art. The Figge Art Museum houses one of the world’s largest collections of Haitian art outside of Haiti itself. Kelsey will give a brief presentation about the basic of Haitian art and why the Figge has so much of it, followed by a hands-on art activity related to the lesson.
