DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 23, 2023) — Davenport Public Library is excited to announce that the Main Library (321 Main Street) will reopen on Monday!

Regular operating hours at all three Davenport Public Libraries will resume as of Monday, June 26. Check our website for our full listing of hours and locations.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 2, 2023) — For the safety of staff and patrons, Davenport Public Library Main will be closed until further notice due to the partial collapse of the apartment building directly across the street. Davenport Public Library Fairmount and Davenport Public Library Eastern will both remain open for normal business hours.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 12, 2023) — Quad Cities Pride in Memory started as a project to capture oral histories from local LGBTQ+ seniors, telling their own stories in their own words. The sweep of this history from around 1960 to the present was so compelling that they decided to create panels which display this history and help explain major events during those years.
