Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Operations and Program Grants: Over $600,000 in Grants Just Awarded to Local Organizations

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 15, 2023) — Thirty-one local non-profits are receiving $644,630 through the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Operations and Program Grants.

The Operations and Program Grants are made possible by generous donations to fifteen different Field of Interest Funds as well as the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund. These grants make up the Community Foundation’s largest competitive grantmaking cycle each year.

Moline Kiwanis Partners with First Baptist Church for Diaper Donation Event September 9, 9AM–1PM

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 4, 2023) — The Kiwanis Club of Moline, Illinois, is partnering with First Baptist Church, 1901 29th St, Moline, for their “Diaper Depot” program. Over the past nine years, the Diaper Depot has served over 1,000 mothers with children, and has provided over 3,700 diapers over the past nine years, through their monthly distribution. The distribution, called “Diaper Depot” is held every third Saturday at the church.

Support Continues to Be Available for Households Previously Living at 324 Main Street in Davenport

BETTENDORF, IOWA (August 15, 2023) — Each household that lived at 324 Main Street in downtown Davenport is now eligible for a total of $3,500 in financial assistance from the Quad Cities Disaster Recovery Fund at the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

The fund was activated after the partial building collapse earlier this summer. Donors from the Quad Cities region and across the country donated to support the fund.
